Long Time No Post

Hey all! So it's been a long while since I've posted! So much has happened in this last year! Last post I talked about joining YoungLiving and although I love the products I have moved on from that, and am now with Farmasi ! And on Facebook I am under Beyoutiful You  ! In just three short months, I have built a team of more than 6 people and almost ranked up three times last month! It's crazy how much one yes can change your life! Another big change is a moved states! I am still in New England but am no longer a New Hampshirite which is crazy for me to think or say! After 25 years as one, it's weird not to be one now, but I'll be a New England girl for life!  I'm SO blessed by all 2019 brought me! My ministry has exploded into a Facebook page and an instagram and three groups! God is moving and I'm so grateful that He's entrusted me with such an amazing opportunity to reach so many people in this way!  I'm still struggling health-wise, and to...

Furthering The Kingdom From Your Phone

Hello Everyone, I just want to encourage all of you today that no matter your circumstances you can further the kingdom of Christ. Even if your house/bed bound due to health, and or finances you can still reach out to others, and start a revolution of women and/or men! As most of you know I've been pretty much homebound since last August as well as months the year previous and on days it's been extremely difficult and discouraging, but God has a plan, all!  Not only have I been able to write some on this blog that I've been told has encouraged others, but I'm part of two Christian women's groups on Facebook, as well, as been more aware of what I post on my newsfeeds. I'm not writing this to brag on myself, but to encourage all of you that no matter where you are at in life you can still serve Christ! You don't have to go half way around the world to be a missionary...you can spread His love and truth in your own circle in person and from your phone or com...

Your Thoughts Are Not Your Facts

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to take a moment to remind you all of something...So Monday I had a conversation that made me feel very poorly about myself and old insecurities came flooding into my heart, mind and soul. All of which took several days of wrestling against it get past it. One thing I kept reminding myself was that my thoughts and feelings are not my facts and my truth. What other people think of me isn't always accurate and what has been done to me, doesn't define my worth. You are child of God if you have accepted His gift of salvation and that makes you priceless . It doesn't matter what others say about you, or what you let yourself think about yourself, you are worth it, you are loved, and you have purpose! If you didn't, you wouldn't be alive to read this post. Sometimes we need to block people from our lives, but just as importantly, sometimes we have to block our insecurities and thoughts. It takes a lot of soul searching and work to break up...

He Isn't Finished With You Yet

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to pop on here and remind all of you that if you are breathing and if you are reading this, you still have a purpose that only God can fulfill through you, otherwise He'd take you Home right now. Your purpose may only be to plant seeds in someone's heart, or encourage them, tomorrow, or two years from now etc....we don't get to know all the answers this side of Heaven, but know He has a plan for your life! If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts today, I'd encourage you to reach out to someone, but, also, turn to the ONE who can help you better than anyone else can. He made you, He knows you, and He has never left your side. No matter what you are struggling with that is causing you to want to give up on this side of Heaven, know He will get you through it because you are still here. When you feel like no one knows what you are going through God knows ! This past week I ended up in the hospital overnight due to ...

And He Denied Him Three Times

Hello All, Have you ever read the Bible and thought, "How can they deny that is God, it's so obvious?" or "How can they do that, when they just had an encounter with God Himself?" I know I have, but lately, I've come to the realization that they are just humans, as I am and if I was in their shoes I might've done the same thing. This may seem like something that is obvious, but it is so easy to judge from the outside looking in, when in reality we can't fully understand what is going on without being in the situation ourselves. Even if we have been in similar situations, we have not walked their entire lives so we don't know fully why they react a certain way. It can be easy to assume we would react a differently if we were in their  shoes, but without being them, we can never know for sure. Today I read the story of the Passover and of when Jesus was betrayed by Judas. (Luke 22) Though what struck me most wasn't that He was betrayed by som...

Just Because It Hurts, Doesn't Mean It Isn't God

Hello Everyone,  The title for the post might seem obvious, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who in life's darkest hour, wonders how this could be God's will. As my recent posts have stated, I've been dealing with some hard stuff this past year and a half, and I will admit I've asked "why" several times, but He is still good! I may not know all that He has instore for me, and all the reasons He is allowing me to go through all this, but I know one thing for sure...while I've been struggling He is working, and He has great plans for me! As I talked about last post, spending time in His word more regularly has really helped get my perspective focused above and more on what He can do through me and not what is happening to me. It is through lives interruptions that we often take Him up on His invitation to seek Him the most. I still struggle with the why, especially this week as I ended up in the ER twice (once by ambulance), but I know that He has...

What We Put in Will Become Who We Are

Image
Hey All, So I'm still in a rough season, however, in the last couple months I've restarted doing my Jesus time almost first thing, and making sure I do it everyday. This may not seem like that big of a deal to some, but especially in a tough season of life it is SO important! I think that it is important in both the mountain and valley times of our lives, but it is crucial in those valley times so we can be filled with His peace instead of anxiety as well as get clarity and learn what He wants us to. Not only have I been doing my daily Jesus time while listening to Air1 , I have, also, been watching a sermon or two a week, and just read (Un) qualified by Steven Furtick which is one of the best books I've EVER read! I've been "going" to Elevation for a couple of years now and I can't speak highly enough about the ministry that this church family is in my life! God has spoken to me during each sermon and song to the point of tears most weeks! L...

Working on My Masterpiece

Hello All, So since I last wrote I'm feeling slightly more me...though I know I have a long way to go before I have my roar back (see past last post to understand what I am referring to). I think the biggest change in such a short time is the fact that I realized that I'm losing myself, because the first step to fixing a problem is realizing there is one. God and I are working on this masterpiece and all though I'm not perfect, I will someday become an even better version of who I was before this last year and half I just know it.  In the last few days I've spoken with some people about how I've been feeling and I think getting it out and being accountable is helpful. I have, also, cried a decent amount which I hate, but it was a good release. Another big thing is I've come up with a schedule for my morning that includes me and Jesus time. Through the last months of being home and not working, I've slowly stopped having a schedule for that as sometimes I...

I Want My Roar Back

Hello All, As I believe I previously mentioned since last August of 2017 I've been  constantly dizzy and not myself. I worked part time from sometime that month til Thanksgiving week of that year when I felt pretty much 100%...though on and off I had to take a day or two off due to dizzy spells. Come this August I've been out of work completely because I've been dealing with the same thing and no answers as to why....as you can imagine this has taken a toll on me. I'm mentally, physically, and emotionally beyond drained. I've been fighting a panic attack all day pretty much and I just want to sleep, and wake up and have this all be a horrid nightmare. The thing that kills me the most is that the people that have met me in the last year and half or so don't even know the "real" me. Sure they know parts of me, but they know broken me.....they know the me that cries in doctors offices, can't remember anything, has a short fuse, is introverted, goes to...

When The Little Things Outweigh the Big

Hello There! Two days in a row, look at me, that's more than I've done in quite a long time! Just popping on here to say that although I'm sure tomorrow I may feel really crappy and find it a little hard...or maybe even tonight...right now I'm feeling pretty positive so I want to get this out. Maybe it'll help someone who reads it, or maybe it'll help me later when I'm feeling a little more under the weather than I am right now, regardless, here it goes. So today I woke up with a horrible migraine...still have a decent headache/borderline migraine....and feeling pretty dizzy, but my sister-in-law messaged me and ended up taking me over to her place to see my niece and visit which was awesome. Then I got home, went out and got a few errands done...which made me feel worse, but I'm very grateful I was able to get that done. Then came home to eat and am now able to rest and listen to Kane Brown's new album Experiment on repeat which I've been waiti...

It's Been Far Too Long

Hey All, So almost two years later and I'm finally coming back on here. I've felt like I should for the last month with everything going on in my life to help me sort through my emotions, but I have yet to actually do so, so here I am....finally getting around to it. In short, since I last posted, I've been working at a credit union call center which is VERY different from running around as a host/server, etc and food service representative, though it is steady hours and paycheck so I give it that....plus I've learned a lot and my bosses and coworkers are amazing. I've been living in one place with my friend and her toddler which is fun since no moving and who doesn't like kids and friends! :)...to top it off, her mom, step-dad, and sister live next door, and her brother and wife live near by so it's like we live back in time where everyone lived right next to each other. haha! Over the two years, I've dated a few guys, that haven't worked out, unf...

New Year New Me

Image
Hey All, It's about seven months since I've blogged and there are so many reason for that!...had the most horrible summer of my life for countless reasons along with the woman I posted about last May passing away, had a lot of romantic disappointments etc....BUT that year is in the past and this is the future...2017!!! I have not been SO excited for a year to be over and another to begin in a long time and I'm so grateful! I realize that a year is a just a time frame and that each and every second, each and every minute, we can start fresh if we choose to do so, so the whole "new year new me" mantra is kinda silly, but this year it fits! I'm not huge into resolutions, but I do like to pick phrases or set goals for myself that I try to live out and strive to make a daily part of my life each year and in the years after as well; which anyone who's read my past posts will know! This year I plan to make big changes in my life and although it's terrifyi...

Please Support

Hey All! So I know that I haven't blogged in a while and I have a few ideas that I plan to blog about in the next couple weeks, but for now, I just ask that you check out this GoFundMe page....It's for my best friend's mom who is going through cancer! I'd appreciate any readers' prayers, shares, and donations! Thank you so very much! Until Next Time! <3Abi

1 Peter 4:12-13 & 19

Hey All, So, again, I'm sorry for being so awful at blogging lately....I've pretty much worked, slept, and got up and worked again everyday these past few months and haven't had much time for anything....Regardless, here I am, and hopefully, what I have to say is helpful to someone out there who still cares enough to read this blog of mine. At camp I have a white board out above the sink in the dining room that I write Bible verses on every week during the year and every day in the summer, and the verses I picked days ago to put up were from 1 Peter...little did I know how much I'd be needing those verses myself. The verses are as follows "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice as you share Christ's suffering, that you may also rejoice and be glad when His glory is revealed...Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls t...

Brothers and Sisters In Christ

Hey Everyone, I realize it's almost February and I have yet to post this year...shame on me, I know...but in my defense, my laptop crashed and so I'm currently typing this on a PC, I'm borrowing, that's connected to my TV...I've got wires everywhere and the keyboard on my lap...quite the sight I'm sure! haha! Anyways...moving on... As Christians we are "related" to all other believers in the sense that we have all been adopted by Christ which is pretty amazing, if you ask me! As brothers and sisters in Christ we are called to encourage one another and call each other out on shortcomings, but the latter, I feel is often done in wrong and hurtful ways...and it's honestly, one of my biggest pet peeves. Some of you may think that it's probably only a pet peeve because I don't want to be convicted of my sin, but you couldn't be more wrong....sure, I'm human and sometimes I'm sure I get defensive over things that I shouldn't, but ...

Find Your Inspiration

Hey All, So as the year of 2015 is coming to a close, next weekend, it's only natural to start thinking about your New Years' Resolutions and so that's kind of what this post will be about. More often than not, people make resolutions and they don't follow through with them, and honestly, until this past year, I've never really made any myself, partly due to that reason...This isn't a good or bad thing, but still it's the truth...I, however, encourage all you to claim 2016 as your year to [blank] and strive EVERY day to make that desire a reality! Some of the most common resolutions I hear of are about physical health (working out or eating healthier etc.) and while those are good things to strive for, I think that you should start with something else. More often than not, if you don't first strive to better your emotional/inward self, you won't be able to fully embrace becoming more healthy, physically. I'm not saying it has to be entirely one o...

It Starts At The Roots

Hello Everyone, Fair warning, this post may be repetitive of past blog entries from this year, but if you are new to my blog or even if not, I'm sure that some of it will still be fresh and hopefully helpful to you in some way. As the year of learning to love myself is drawing to a close, it's so encouraging to look back and see how far I've come since March of this year! I am much more at peace with myself and with my surroundings than I have been in maybe forever, and my perspective on so many things has changed, for what I believe to be the better. I've had numerous people tell me that they can see a change in me, even without me mentioning anything about my journey, and honestly, I feel as if, in some ways, I was "reborn" at the beginning of this year. I'm SO grateful to God for helping me walk through so much of my former baggage that I carried for far too long! Alright, so this post is going to be sort of a "tutorial" into how I was able to...

Month of Doing Without

Hey All, First off I just realized that last year I posted 43 times and this year I have only posted 19 so far...that is quite the difference, and hopefully, next year I'll be better at writing when I have inspiration instead of waiting until it leaves me and I forget half of what I was going to post on. We'll see. I have no idea how many of you actually care about whether I post or not, so probably most of this is for my own future benefit, but that's okay. Anyways, obviously we are in the month of December and as some of you probably know, this month the camp I work at closes down which is rather difficult for me. I only have deep cleaning a couple of days, and our Christmas party, in which I get to go to my favorite place on earth and see some of my favorite people, but that's not the only hard part; it also means I'm pretty tight on money this month. Yes, I have another job, but camp pays my bills and some extra, so now I just have savings/extra money coming in ...

1 - 1 Six

Hi Everyone, So unless you are just coming to my blog, and this is the first post you have read of mine, you know for a fact, that I'm a born-again Christian...at least I hope you know that for a fact! Anyways, my point is, that I'm not one to not bring up my faith in Jehovah on a very regular basis, however, proclaiming my faith is quite different then living it out. I can easily say that I love Jesus, but unless I live it out on a daily basis, it means nothing; it's all just empty words. (James 2:14-26) I would REALLY like to think that my life exemplifies Christ in pretty much everything I say and do, but I'm human so, obviously, that is not the case! Without going into details, God has convicted my soul about an area of my life that I let my sinful nature take over, and it really humbled me. I do not want there to be a space in between me and my Creator and I 100% do NOT want to cause Him to be disappointed in how I live my life. We alll make mistakes so I...
