Furthering The Kingdom From Your Phone
Hello Everyone,
I just want to encourage all of you today that no matter your circumstances you can further the kingdom of Christ. Even if your house/bed bound due to health, and or finances you can still reach out to others, and start a revolution of women and/or men! As most of you know I've been pretty much homebound since last August as well as months the year previous and on days it's been extremely difficult and discouraging, but God has a plan, all!
Not only have I been able to write some on this blog that I've been told has encouraged others, but I'm part of two Christian women's groups on Facebook, as well, as been more aware of what I post on my newsfeeds. I'm not writing this to brag on myself, but to encourage all of you that no matter where you are at in life you can still serve Christ! You don't have to go half way around the world to be a missionary...you can spread His love and truth in your own circle in person and from your phone or computer. As I mentioned I'm part of a couple women's groups on Facebook and yesterday I started a prayer chain in one of them and the responses I got really encouraged me as I encouraged and prayed for them! You never know what God lays on your heart to post or share can mean to someone else! I'd urge you all to pray daily that He would put on your heart someone to encourage that needs it, or just a song or message to post as your status that may be just what someone needed that day!
On top of all that I'm apart of a global church, Elevation, and am going to start volunteering and I'm so hyped and blessed to be apart of something bigger than me! It's been a while since I've felt like I'm where I need to be and although I'm looking forward to the day I'm healthy, again, I'm content knowing He has a reason! In this season I've been able to slow down, focus more on intentional prayer and worship times, been able to make numerous friends across the globe to encourage and been blessed by their encouragement as well! We all need each other and it makes my heart sing thinking about how far apart some of my friends are yet we can still be their for each other! God and technology is amazing you guys!
This post came to me last night, and I had more I wanted to say, but since I was so tired it has escaped me now! I might add to this later, but if not, I hope something I said encouraged at least one of you and that you dare to dream larger than just your little corner of the world!
Until Next Time!
