Grateful for Everything
Hi!
In case you didn't already know this, the first step to being happy is to be grateful...and not just for somethings, but for everything! I'm talking about the good, the bad, the great, and the ugly! It doesn't matter what it is, you gotta be grateful for the little things in order to be happy! If you can't find something to be grateful for in every single day, no matter what, I can, almost, 100% guarantee that you'll be a pretty miserable person. I'm not always grateful for everything, but I'm speaking from experience when I say that when you find yourself complaining, turn it around to something to be thankful for and you're day will look a lot brighter and you will have a lot more energy. Negativity is a huge weight to bear and it's not worth it! When you find yourself running late for work and you feel stressed, take a second to thank God you have a job to go to...that you have money to pay your bills...thank Him for your co-workers and your boss...it works, trust me! :) And this method works for every situation. For example, at times, the groups we serve at the camp I work at can be very messy, needy, etc. and sometimes I find myself complaining about it, but you know what? If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have a job year 'round there and not only that, but I'm there to serve them and the more they give us to do the more hours I get payed for so it all works out, right? :)
I'm not saying this is always easy to do, because it most certainly is NOT, but God gives me the strength for each and every day and always finds ways to remind me how much I have to be grateful for so in the end it all works out! I'm SO blessed in SO many areas it's INSANE!! I'm SO unworthy, but He gives me a million and one reasons to be grateful and to be happy and it's amazingly humbling! I love my God, my friends, my family, and my LIFE!
Jamie Grace's new album Ready to Fly comes out in a few days and I'm VERY EXCITED about it!! Her music pretty much describes things I feel and want to say and her style sounds how my heart feels!<3
Enjoy your day all!
Until Next Time!

P.S. I like to watch/listen to sermons on YouTube on a regular basis and decided to go with Francis Chan today and I came across a video about being happy despite our circumstances which goes along with my post earlier (it's been a few hours since I originally posted this). It's about an hour long, but I encourage you to listen to it, maybe not now, but when you have some time. Here it is: What Do You Need In Order To Be Happy.
