Ahhhh....

Hello,

 So, I just want to announce to the world that I'm SO thankful to be home...showered, in PJ's, and sitting on my nice comfy bed! I'm blessed indeed! This was a busy, but FUN weekend! :)

 I have a funny story for you all. So my boss' eldest son (who is 9 and 3/4 years old...this is what he says when you ask him ;P) and I have a "love/hate" relationship; some days he likes me and other days he finds far too much joy in annoying me. haha! I really don't mind though too much because I love kids and he always cracks me up when he tries to be mean, like today at lunchtime. Two of my co-workers and I were eating our lunch and he came in and started telling us a 5 minute or so story about how he caught this squirrel by it's tail and how he wanted to keep it, but his parents wouldn't let him, etc. and after this, his mother comes in and tells them all (there are 4 of them) that it's time to go. This kid, being the sassy little thing he is, just stands there and stares at me and finally starts to leave, but half way out the door, he turns around, and in all seriousness, says to me, "Next time I catch a squirrel, I'm going to put it down your shirt!" And, promptly, closes the door and leaves. The three of us burst out laughing! I don't know, maybe you had to be there, but to me it's still quite funny even though in all truth I should be TERRIFIED, because he would do such a thing I'm sure!! :)

 Just figured I'd share a little story to break up my usual, more "serious" posts...though I have one coming shortly, just wanted to share this first. :P

Except the Unexpected

Hey Everyone, So as I warned you all, I didn't post much at all this summer, except that once in the beginning of June, and since, my life has been a whirlwind. Summer camp, alone, can be crazy and drag in personal aspects of life, it can be pretty exhausting, but to say I love it would be an understatement. I pray your summer was filled with as much joy as mine was! There were many, many times where I felt like I couldn't go on, and God would just come and pick me up and give me such joy, peace, and strength, it could only be credited to Him alone! A Time To Weep

Hello Beautiful People! Today is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice in His great goodness, shall we?! Here the weather is gorgeous out, and I'll probably go outside to do my Bible reading shortly, but first, I wanted to post something. We all know we won't live forever , and as I've said, a lot recently, it is important to love yourself and love life, buuuuut that said, there is, also, a time to weep and mourn, and it doesn't make you a bad person, if that is where you are at in life! Last post, I mentioned that, most of the time, our "problems," aren't really problems, and asked the question, "what really is a problem?" Granted, there are bad things in this world, and we will ALL face struggles and have times that we are just barely keeping our head above the water, but with God, we can all have hope that things will get better! Hey, So, this has been on my mind a lot lately, and although I just posted a few minutes ago, I feel I need to post this now or I never will. If you are friends with me at all, you probably know music is a HUGE part of my life and my all time favorites, I'll defend like I know them personally, weird maybe, but it's true. You'll probably, also, know that my favorite band is DAUGHTRY and one of my favorite male artists is Adam Lambert (both of whom I want to see SO bad this summer)!! I have seen Chris before and have seen Adam as well, but I've never seen DAUGHTRY and I'm a huge enough Glambert that I'd see Adam far more than just twice, and plus he's touring with QUEEN!! You probably are wondering where in the world I'm going with this, and I might loose some readers because of it, but I feel I have to get this off my chest.
