Everlasting God

Hey Everyone!

Isn't it AMAZING to think that the King, Creator, Savior, and God of the WHOLE ENTIRE UNIVERSE has our best interests in mind? With that thought, how is it that we can be afraid, worried, or sad EVER!!...it's because we are human and this world is corrupt with sin, however, if we try and focus on the truth that the Our GOD loves US and is our FRIEND as well as our SAVIOR, PROTECTOR, etc than we ALWAYS have a reason to be happy and ALWAYS have a reason to be positive and hopeful! He is the One who created EVERYTHING we can see and beyond, yet He takes the time EVERY day EVERY second to love on us! Isn't that SO cool?!?! We may not always be able to see Him at work or be able to "feel" Him, but we don't need "signs", all we need to do is go look in the mirror at ourselves and that's proof enough that He exists, that He cares, that He is alive NOT dead, and that He loves us! He woke you up this morning...He's giving you the breath this very minute and you don't even have to think about breathing or waking up do you? It just "happens"...isn't our God AWESOME?! I, for one, am a pretty enthusiastic and happy person, but there are days I let myself listen to Satan's lies about who I am and who my God is, but those days are becoming fewer and farther apart, because the more days I read my Bible, the more days I thank God for waking me up and for giving me another day to serve Him and point others to Him, the more days Satan doesn't win the battle over reigning my emotions and thoughts. I'm more and more  trying to focus on asking God in each situation and conversation I have with someone to give me a chance to give Him the glory and praise He deserves. I don't always talk about Him and I'm by far not the best example of who He is and what a Christian should be, but with His strength I can conquer my sin every hour of every day and I'm SO thankful to have Him by my side. He's ALWAYS there for me and ALWAYS will be, and if people remember nothing else about me after I'm gone Home to be with Him, I hope they remember this, that Jesus was my Savior and that I strove to please Him with all that I was. I want to leave a legacy of His love and for others to see Him not me!

Except the Unexpected

Hey Everyone, So as I warned you all, I didn't post much at all this summer, except that once in the beginning of June, and since, my life has been a whirlwind. Summer camp, alone, can be crazy and drag in personal aspects of life, it can be pretty exhausting, but to say I love it would be an understatement. I pray your summer was filled with as much joy as mine was! There were many, many times where I felt like I couldn't go on, and God would just come and pick me up and give me such joy, peace, and strength, it could only be credited to Him alone! Just in the last eight hours, I found out I will be staying at camp a week longer, because my apartment won't be available until then, and that my second job wouldn't be taking me back on, even though I had been pretty much guaranteed a position starting next month. A Time To Weep

Hello Beautiful People! Today is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice in His great goodness, shall we?! Here the weather is gorgeous out, and I'll probably go outside to do my Bible reading shortly, but first, I wanted to post something. We all know we won't live forever , and as I've said, a lot recently, it is important to love yourself and love life, buuuuut that said, there is, also, a time to weep and mourn, and it doesn't make you a bad person, if that is where you are at in life! Last post, I mentioned that, most of the time, our "problems," aren't really problems, and asked the question, "what really is a problem?" Granted, there are bad things in this world, and we will ALL face struggles and have times that we are just barely keeping our head above the water, but with God, we can all have hope that things will get better! Underneath

Hey, So, this has been on my mind a lot lately, and although I just posted a few minutes ago, I feel I need to post this now or I never will. If you are friends with me at all, you probably know music is a HUGE part of my life and my all time favorites, I'll defend like I know them personally, weird maybe, but it's true. You'll probably, also, know that my favorite band is DAUGHTRY and one of my favorite male artists is Adam Lambert (both of whom I want to see SO bad this summer)!! I have seen Chris before and have seen Adam as well, but I've never seen DAUGHTRY and I'm a huge enough Glambert that I'd see Adam far more than just twice, and plus he's touring with QUEEN!! You probably are wondering where in the world I'm going with this, and I might loose some readers because of it, but I feel I have to get this off my chest.
