About Me
Hi All!
So, I'm Abigail and am a young woman who is just living the dream! haha! When I started this blog I was working in the kitchen at a camp as well as hosting at a local restaurant (sorry I don't wish to publicly state where I work/worked, but both places are AMAZING)! Neither were the highest paying of jobs, but, hey, I'd rather absolutely love where I work, and live closer to paycheck to paycheck than some, than work somewhere I dread going to everyday. God blessed me SO much in the area of my work and provided, and will continue to provide, for all my needs. :) The reason I mention this, is because this is something I'm passionate about (well food service/camp ministry) and that is mentioned a bit so I didn't want that to be confusing if you started reading random posts. I no longer am there for various reasons, that you will just have to read my blog to find out. :) I now work from home selling FARMASI and, also, run several Facebook pages, so I keep pretty busy!
I was home-schooled all my life, and never went to college, but I'm ok with that decision and am thankful to not be debt with a degree I'm not using. College is great for some people, but it is certainly not for everyone, and until God gives me a strong desire to go, I won't, despite the pressure from some to go back to school.
I'm a Christian, which will be very obvious if you read my blog because my plan is to blog about my struggles, my joys, and just my everyday life from a Godly perspective. I'm not perfect by any means and some posts will probably be just me ranting and discouraged, but that's okay, because God didn't promise this life to be easy, and I'm thankful it's not, because I have grown so much as a person and in my relationship with Him through my pain and my doubts.
I'm, also, a HUGE music person and although all the music I listen to isn't Christian by any means that's about 70-80% of what I listen to, regularly, I'd say. Music speaks to me SO much and I often post lyrics on my Facebook page or send friends songs that describe how I'm feeling/what I want to say, so there will probably be at least a few posts of lyrics or links to songs that are about what I'm trying to say or the point I want to get a across to you all.
I named this blog, "Waiting for Tomorrow," because I want to live each day as if it's my last and I tend to find joy in the simplest of things. Mandisa's song Waiting for Tomorrow is where I got the name and I'm very thankful for each day God gives me on this earth to point others to Him and to further His kingdom. The chorus of this song says: "I can't live my whole life wasting/All the grace that I know You've given/'Cause You made me for so much more than/Sitting on the sidelines/I don't wanna look back and wonder/If good enough could have been better/Every day's a day that's borrowed/So why am I waiting for tomorrow?/Why am I waiting for tomorrow?"
I hope that my posts will touch you in some small way and that things God is teaching me will make you stop and think as well. There is no guarantee of tomorrow so lets live each day to the fullest with God as our focal point.
I look forward to sharing this journey of my life with you all in a new way and I hope that you are blessed by what God speaks through me.
Enjoy and have a beautiful day!
